Terms and conditions | 2024-2025 season
VALIDITY PERIOD
The membership period begins on June 1st. Your membership is valid from the moment we receive your payment until June 30 of the following year.
APPLICABLE FEE
From June 1st to November 15, during the annual membership drive, Professional/Organization members receive a $20 discount, and Professional/Individual members receive a $10 discount.
From November 16 to May 3, the regular fee applies. However, the $20 discount for Professional/Organization members and the $10 discount for Professional/Individual members apply at all times to new memberships.
To enjoy member benefits, the current year’s membership fee must be paid. If a member does not renew by November 16, their account will be deactivated and their member file and show listings will be removed from the website. The AQM allows for a grace period between June 1st and November 16 for membership renewals.
VIRTUAL MEMBERSHIP CARD
The AQM is moving forward with its digital transition by replacing its physical membership card with a digital one. After completing your transaction, you will receive a virtual membership card by email. Simply show your card to our partners, as you would your old hard copy card, to unlock a variety of advantages. If you would like to receive a printed card, please request one at: communications@aqm.ca.
Any legal entity, group or association working professionally in puppet theatre in Québec, or whose mission includes puppetry arts.
ORGANIZATION PLUS — Add $50 to one of the four membership options to add an additional Professional/Individual membership. In addition to securing your own listing in the artists’ directory on the AQM website, you’ll enjoy all the advantages of a Professional/Individual membership.
MAKE A DONATION — Would you like to support the UNIMA Humanitas and Cooperation Commission? Please enter the amount of your donation in the “Add a donation for the Association québécoise des marionnettistes” box and we will forward your donation to UNIMA. Your contribution will help fund projects that support puppeteers in need.
The fee is based on the total operating cost funding received by your company or organization from arts councils (Conseil des arts de Montréal, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, Canada Council for the Arts).
FEE #1: No funding to support operating costs
FEE #2: Funding to support operating costs ≤ $50,000
FEE #3: Funding to support operating costs between $50,000 and $100,000
FEE #4: Funding to support operating costs ≥ $100,000
Any individual–whether an artist or a cultural worker–either working professionally in puppet theatre in Québec or otherwise making significant use of puppetry in their profession.
Regular: $90 (plus taxes)
With the $10 discount: $80 (plus taxes)
Any individual or group interested in the organization’s activities.
Flat rate: $50 (plus taxes)
