Love Will Return is a wordless narrative in which music plays an important role. We are told the story of Béa, a tiny girl living alone in a rusty kettle in the woods, looking for friends among the creatures that surround her. Her world is turned upside down when she discovers an egg in a chickadee’s nest and decides to steal it, in the hopes of seeing a new friend hatch. The play explores themes of solitude, friendship and resilience as well as our interconnectedness with nature.
