About
A Whole World in His Head
A little boy wonders about the world around him: why are eyes located on the face? Why aren’t humans as furry as cats? At night, he dreams of astonishing creatures: a winged bull, a dog with a horn, and a thousand other strange beings. But when he wakes up, his new friends vanish. Determined not to lose them, he begins drawing them all over his room and even builds paper houses for them. A city begins to take shape, but something is still missing…
Gentle Poetic Theater
This intimate show, both poetic and playful, gently oscillates between dream and reality. Around a storyteller-performer, shadows, drawings, and video projections create a handcrafted, graphic universe that resonates with children’s imaginations. After the performance, the young audience is invited to contribute to this paper landscape. In this vast world, filled with questions and mysteries, why not imagine, shape it with your hands and ideas, and add your own colors?
A Nurtured Project
This project was selected as part of Chambre d’ami·es, a program by the Maison Théâtre aimed at supporting emerging artists and promoting diversity in theater for young audiences. The show benefited from creative residencies and guidance from L’Illusion, Théâtre de marionnettes, one of the member companies of the Maison Théâtre.
