About

Puppets, Shadow Theatre, and Live Music

Ages 3 & up  |  without words

A theatrical adaptation of « Pomelo est amoureux » written by Ramona Bădescu and Benjamin Chaud, ed. Albin Michel Jeunesse

Pomelo is a tiny pink elephant born under a dandelion in a garden. With humor and sensitivity, Pomelo discovers the world around him. He then experiences the shock of autumn’s arrival, and then, winter ! Lover of his garden, saddened at the sight of sagging strawberry plants, and amazed by a snowflake, Pomelo turns out to be the very embodiment of childhood.

This new production of Ombres Folles Company is an ode to nature and its changing seasons which allow you to see things die and be reborn, and turn us from one extreme to the other. Featuring shadows, live contrabass, and the diffusion of fragrances, Pomelo is an enchanting and enveloping experience!
