Twenty years of international touring as a puppeteer! André-Anne LeBlanc began her career as a puppeteer in 2003 with the internationally acclaimed Montreal company Soma-International. To this day, she continues her world tour with one of Soma’s founding members, Serge Deslauriers, co-founding a new company together: Cabaret Décadanse. She is now not only lead puppeteer amongts it but also the Artistic Director. At the Théâtre de L’Avant-Pays, she made a remarkable appearance at the beginning of her career as a puppeteer for young audiences with the show À Nous Deux. A versatile performer and artisan, André-Anne has worked in almost every profession related to the stage (acting, production, sets, costume, lighting, sound design, dubbing, dance, puppet making, makeup, writing and directing). On television, she manipulates little René Simard on Prière de ne pas envoyer de fleurs (Radio-Canada), the characters of the children’s programs Théo and T’es où, Théo (YOOPA) and the puppets of the latest Robax advertising campaign (Studio Pascal Blais) and Richard the Racoon (Goodfood campain). Today, André-Anne LeBlanc continues the world tour with the now legendary Cabaret Décadanse, featuring in award winning cabarets like La Clique, La Soirée, MAJESTIQUE and the famous Danish Zirkus NEMO and Cape Town Funny Festival. With her husband Betty LeBlanc, she is also the producer of the circus-cabaret show MAJESTIQUE,featuring a world elite cast of acrobats and variety artists. The two also created and produced in 2023 the show BATAILLE ROYALE, in which André-Anne also performs as a puppeteer along dragqueen superstar Barbada. Since 2020, she has had a singing lead role in the Warner Bros. musical Scooby-Doo And The Lost City Of Gold (Monlove creations) Her voice can be heard on iTunes and Spotify in the song I’m a Scientist.
