Description
Tête de L’Art is an emerging feminist creation company based in Québec City. It develops live art projects through an intersectional feminist lens, exploring different artistic mediums during the research phase before determining the most relevant stage form.
Its mission is to contribute to the visibility and democratization of live arts by combining celebration and political reflection. In the tradition of festive, popular, and politically engaged theatre, the company seeks to bring audiences closer to live performance through accessible, irreverent, and unapologetic experiences.
Its first creation, Un Cabaret Légume, was developed through a touring laboratory of 18 performances across Québec before being presented in its current form at La Charpente des Fauves (Québec City) from February 25 to 28, 2026. The piece is a burlesque cabaret of theatre with puppetry for adults (18+), blending humor, performance, and audience participation.
Its second creation, currently in research and development, explores female solitude as an act of emancipation and feminist reclamation.
