About

At the dawn of the Klondike Gold Rush in the late 19th century, a young Yukon woman discovers a gold vein. Accompanied by her ox, which serves as her pack animal, she must cross rivers, plains and mountains to return home. In contact with the unyielding forces of nature and encountering various animals along the way, her journey ultimately leads her on a meaningful personal quest. Klondike is a reflection on our current lifestyle, guided by materialistic impulses, when happiness can be found in the simple fact of being alive, breathing, and marveling at the forces of nature we sometimes face.
